I am the founder of ICCTaiwan, as the owner of this club, I feel that I have the obligation and responsibility to announce major changes within our team. Here comes the message:

 

ICCTaiwan, International Cross-Cultural Club, Taiwan, is a cross-cultural organization under Cultri-liArts Co, Ltd.; we established on August 8th of ROC-Year 100. We saw a trend of international exchanges that grows ever since and founded this club by students who cares about international topics from various nationals. In the beginning, we guard the quality of such platform for cross-cultural exchanges for Taiwanese students, and now we become an iconic club hosting those exchanges; our locations will be extended to places like Beijing and Shanghai. Our primary goals are about cultural equality, cultural sustainability, and cultural connections.

 

Our activities includes Seasonal Gatherings (now combined with the old International Food Shows), Cultural Talks (now combined with the old International Cultural Conference and Language Courses), Couch Surfing (domestic and international locations), and other activities (merging City Tour and Little-Trips-in-Taiwan).

 

As on August 8th, 2014, ICCTaiwan had its 3rd anniversary. We made it through the initial stage, which attendee can afford events with no cost, and is now on the stage of growth, which becomes a business of culture and is managed in cooperative way, known as Phase II. Our new “Stronghold X” will be built at the base city of ICCTaiwan – Taichung – presenting itself in formality of Cultural Salon. Cultural Salon will offer a wide range of services: international backpacker accommodation , creative art pieces sale, international home cooking (private farmers’ crops, fair trade products, organic and environmentally friendly items), exotic bar (snacks served), language exchange (private tutor), and arena leasing, etc.

Kind reminder, ICCTaiwan only invite people to become its member on Facebook ONCE, if you leave the group, you will not be able to be rejoin us online. It’s illegal in ICCTaiwan to have attitudes of: discrimination, violence, alcoholism, drugs, pornography, harassment, firearms, tort of all kinds, etc. All behaviors not complying with laws and rules of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will be reported to according authorities. Last but not least, all participants are required to adhere our Sharing Code : 1) Always ask for permissions from people that will be included in pictures you take, and 2) When you use our professional photographs, it is a MUST for you to tag or mention our club, ICCTaiwan. 身為ICCTaiwan的創辦人與執行長，我認為我有義務與責任去宣布ICCTaiwan的重大決策。

 

ICCTaiwan，國際跨文化組織──台灣，隸屬於Cultri-liArts二乂文化有限公司。ICCTaiwan團隊由來自世界各地且熱衷國際議題之學生組成，我們看到了國際交流的趨勢，於中華民國100年8月8日成立ICCTaiwan。

 

創立之初，我們警惕到國際跨文化交流在台灣的質量，現在我們成為一個標誌性社群。未來我們規劃擴展至北京、上海等地。ICCTaiwan的宗旨為實踐「文化平等」、「文化永續」、「文化連結」。活動包含季節聚會（結合國際食展）、文化講壇（結合國際文化大會和語言課程）、沙發衝浪（國內和國際的位置），以及其他活動（城市遊觀、台灣小旅行）。

 

ICCTaiwan過去三年為「階段一」，以非營利組織的型態，做到了讓參與者以極低成本進行國際跨文化交流；現考量到永續經營，「階段二」將以有限公司之身分繼續經營。ICCTaiwan實體據點「文化沙龍」，將以中台灣為基準城市出發。「文化沙龍」將提供創界且完善的服務：國際背包客住宿、國際文化藝術品銷售、國際家常菜（小農自產自銷、公平貿易、有機和環保）、異國情調的吧檯（國內外食飲）、語言交流（私人導師）、場地租賃等。
